Summary:

The learning experience outlined below has been designed for teachers to engage in SMART Board training through a learning management system (LMS).  Participants are offered guiding resources and learning activities to allow for understanding, reflection and application.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this training module, teachers will be able to:

  • Understand and evaluate components of a learning management system (LMS).
  • Engage in and Analyze interactive SMART Board technology through training.
  • Apply learned outcomes from SMART Board training by creating a product that is posted to the learning management system.

Part II: Activities for SMART Board Training

Beginner Module– A complete web-based learning module to facilitate learning for beginning SMART Board users.

Proficient Module-A complete web-based learning module to facilitate learning for proficient SMART Board users.

Part III: Creating with SMART Notebook and posting to the LMS

Participants will demonstrate their knowledge by creating a final product to post and share through the LMS portal.  Assignments and projects within the SMART Board module will be selected and revised for submission.  Please see lesson plans for specific information.
